Operating Room
Minimally invasive surgery
For minimally invasive surgery, multiple medical devices are needed. Usually these devices are placed on a medical cart or a ceiling pendant. The exact composition of the various devices is determined by the surgical procedure that is carried out with the equipment.
Fluorescence imaging guided surgery
In the use of fluorescence-image guided surgery (FIGS) a molecular marker is injected in a patient, which allows specific tissue to fluoresce. This allows the surgeon to observe the tissue to which the marker has attached itself, using a dedicated real-time camera.
Monitoring, Imaging & Data Management
For digitization within the OR, several solutions are available to provide information about the patient and the surgery. This is implemented using monitors and terminals. Information made available includes data access of the PDMS, patient monitoring and video.
Other equipment carts for the OR
For placing various devices in the operating room, Jansen Medicars manufacturs equipment carts to customer specification. Here some examples are shown, including cart configurations for electro surgery and orthopedics.
