BabyCart

The BabyCart is a trolley that can be connected to an incubator and provides the necessary power for both the incubator and the equipment attached to the baby. Additionally, the BabyCart supplies the required gases for a ventilator. With a connected BabyCart, the incubator with the baby inside can be moved while all equipment remains operational. The major advantage is that the baby no longer needs to be transferred to a different incubator before or after transport to, for example, the operating room or radiology department, which is significantly better for the baby’s health.

During the transport of incubator babies within the hospital, it is desirable to provide the incubator and the necessary medical devices, such as ventilators and pumps, with electricity and oxygen. Only in this way a safe transport can take place.

Some medical devices are equipped with a battery, but most devices are not. The amount of energy that a device consumes often determines whether this device can be supplied with a battery. Because the energy required for an incubator is relatively high, most transport incubators are not supplied with a battery.

The above mentioned applications are configurations based on our standard medical carts. These standard carts are modular in design, allowing to create any configuration according to customer specification. This means that the displayed cart configurations can be adjusted as desired. This includes for example removing or adding a shelf, bottle bracket or other components. In case a desired item is not part of our standard product range, it is also possible to deliver custom made parts. In this case we can design the required item, and produce this design for you.
